The number one question about a puppy I get is : How much will the puppy weigh at maturity. If I or any other
breeder knew the exact answer we would be God.
There are so many factors which influence the weight. Just like human babies who are born around the same
weight it is impossible to tell if they will be 5'2" or 6'6". You can have human siblings that differ greatly in weight,
size, build and looks. Genes are a funny things. We can only give a guesstimate based on past puppies, weight
of puppy at various weeks of age, birth weight, build, bone structure, parents, possible know ancestors
generations back.
We do not guarantee size and weight at maturity of any puppy. We give you information about the weight of
parents and puppies' weight. We can also tell if puppy is fine boned or stout. The weight chart above is used and
recommended by many breeders. Sometimes it is right and at other times it is totally off. If weight is a major
factor in choosing your dog do not adopt an 8 week old puppy. The earliest you can predict size is around 5 to 6
months.
I also want to make you aware of the high risk of Hypoglycemia in tiny toys (under 4 lbs adult weight).
Hypoglycemia is not a disease and is not covered By any Health Guarantees I know of.
